Krystal Rivvers + Edgecliff

Krystal Rivvers + Edgecliff

Friday Apr 3rd

Krystal Rivvers led by Earl Weir a Wurundjeri / Boon Wurrung singer-songwriter, guitarist and visual storyteller, and the frontman of Krystal Rivvers — a 6-piece indie/alternative rock outfit based on Gadigal and Bidjigal land (Sydney). Known for his magnetic stage presence and emotionally-charged songwriting, Earl leads the band with a sound that bridges psych-rock, soul, and poetic grit.

Following the recent release of their debut EP via Impressed Records, the band are now working on their first full-length album, slated for release in 2025/26. The project sees Earl collaborating with a stellar lineup of artists and producers including Polly Cooper (Hatchling), Jack Moffitt (The Preatures), Michael Tramonte (The Delta Riggs), Freddie Crabs and Beaker Best (Sticky Fingers), Reyne House, and others.

In recognition of his artistic vision and contribution to music, Weir was awarded the First Nations Creative and Professional Development Grant from Sound NSW, supporting the evolution of his work both on and off stage.

Edgecliff are a Sydney rock band that have been inseparable since their high school days, where they first forged their bond over a shared passion for classic rock. This tight-knit group of five mates have honed their musical talents and made a name for themselves in the Sydney rock music scene.

Their signature sound is characterised by powerful, raspy vocals intertwined with rich guitar tones that seamlessly complement the hard-hitting drums. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Foo Fighters, Silverchair, Pearl Jam, and Powderfinger, Edgecliff infuses their music with a nostalgic yet fresh vibe that resonates with audiences.
