Rising out of the fertile soil of Brisbane's West End, Kooii has nurtured a uniquely local sound that weaves musical influences from around the world. Kooii's music is a Meeting Place merging the vision and quiet intensity of Peter Hunt with a tight group of creative heavyweights that have grown to share that vision.

Vintage future soul, silky funk and post-apoc yacht rock. The sonic lovechild of Stevie Wonder and Steely Dan, Tommy straddles soul, disco funk and post-apocalyptic yacht rock as smooth as he slips into his silk purple robes or well ironed buttoned shirt and suit pants.
