Positive Spin is an indie-alt combination of Curtis and Kyla based out of Magandjin / Brisbane. Creating moments packed with catchy basslines and feel-good energy, they blend indie-rock, alternative, and funk into their own unique sound.

Having formed this year, Positive Spin quickly gained momentum landing a main support slot for Drifting Clouds (Jun '26), and preparing to release their debut single, 'Carried Away'. Together, Positive Spin combine proven live energy with a fresh sound, delivering songs that leave a lasting impression.

Curtis brings years of experience from his previous project The Silver Spurs, with support from triple j, triple j Unearthed, and 4ZZZ, plus performances alongside Rum Jungle, Shag Rock, Felivand, YB, and Andy Golledge.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land upon which Felons sits, the Turrbal & Jagera people of Meanjin.
