Rutherford Jazz Trio (RJT) is a fierce 5-piece Meanjin funk lineup. They deceitfully deploy electrifying riffs and rhythms upon unsuspecting audiences, living beyond not only its nomenclature, but genre boundaries as well. Even a moment with RJT threatens witnesses with an irreversible and virulent strain of fathomless groove.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land upon which Felons sits, the Turrbal & Jagera people of Meanjin. We recognise their continuing connection and unique cultural and spiritual relationship to the land, water and community. We pay our deepest respects to them and their culture, and to Elders, past, present and emerging.
