Consisting of Baxter Melrose (Vocals), Gabe Kolakowski (Guitar), Isaac Clark (Keys) and Nic Pezzimenti (Drums), in the span of a year, the four-piece have accelerated from childhood friends to one of Brisbane’s most exciting live acts.
With only one single behind them, Tear Drive has already caused a stir locally. In just 12 months, the band has sold-out multiple headline shows, shared stages with the likes of Bean Magazine and The Velvet Club and were awarded the QUBE Effect People’s Choice Award – with the most votes in the competition’s decade-long history.
Not content to stick with what’s worked before, their new release marks an explicit shift in sound and atmosphere from their lauded debut.
