Tucked away in the unassuming hills of this quaint country town, Hop Products Australia are hard at work growing some of the best hops on the planet. It's here we wandered beneath towering canopies of fragrant, swaying hop vine - teeming with some of the freshest hops we'd ever encountered.

There's no going around it, Galaxy Hops are a cornerstone of Australian brewing. A bonafide iconic.

Far from the comfort of our shiny beer tanks back in Brisbane, we found ourselves reconnecting with an ingredient that's behind some of our most loved beers.

The internationally prized and highly sought hop grown by Hop Products Australia. Their presence in any beer packing an instant punch of juicy peach, passionfruit and tangy citrus to the senses!

So, like moths to a flame, (or brewers to a hop!) we dug our hands and noses into these potent pops of green and let out a collective sigh of appreciation. 

With sticky fingers and fresh high country air in our lungs, we were reminded that great beer begins long before the mash tun—it starts right here in the field. 

Home is Where the Hops Are Grown

Which brings us to a beer we brewed with this wondrous hop. Our Australian Pale Ale, known to sip about as easy as a breeze through gum tree's, with lush lashings of tropical fruit flavour and a bright citrusy kick that hits the spot every. single. time.
